Hello Dear Friends & Community,
It’s official ~ spring has sprung here in my home in the Pacific Northwest, on the traditional Indigenous lands of the Coast Salish Peoples, also known as Vancouver, Canada.
It’s my favourite season, not only because of the beauty and wonder of Mother Nature re-awakening, but the season also brings with it the promise of rebirth, renewal and hope for fresh new beginnings. It is also when many people are excited and energized by the increase in daylight and general buzz of aliveness that inspires them to come out of the hibernation of winter.
How has spring season been for you so far? For me, it’s been a beautiful busy start! My team and I have been working hard (and joyfully!) behind-the-scenes to launch a very special project that I am thrilled to announce today.
The past four weeks, my team and I hit the ground running shortly after I returned from my quarterly leadership and self-sustainability retreat in Bowen Island. During the 2.5 days of silence and surrounded by the beauty of the mountains, forest and lakes, I felt the truth of this quote from Anais Nin. Immersed in spiritual preparation for what is to bloom (or, more like burst forth! lol), I was re-negotiating my relationship with risk as it relates to pushing against very human tendencies to close and hide, in order to truly bloom and blossom.
Reading through my work notebook and journals from the past 18 months, I remembered that the Wheel of Sustainable Success™ (WOSS) framework and vision for the companion workshop & summit was birthed in Bowen Island.
It was amazing to review the journey thus far, how much I’ve had to step out of my comfort zone, grow through layers of resistance, and take big risks to get to this point of birthing and creating new offerings for you, and then to get to the point of being ready to share with you. It’s the perfect season for it, too, isn’t it?
